It is a traditional body-on-frame truck with double-wishbone suspension at the front and leaf springs at the rear. The 4motion four-wheel drive truck and is powered by a turbocharged direct injection (TDI) diesel engine. We've outfitted our Amarok with Ironman Suspension, winch, BF Goodrich all terrain tires, roof rack, ample lighting and a multimedia system with DVD player, rear-view camera and GPS navigation. The fuel-efficient biturbo engine delivers 180 horsepower and gives a remarkable 28 miles per gallon of Diesel fuel - which costs just $1.03 in Ecuador.
